“This is a tragic event, as no casualties or damage to life can be taken for the time being,” said Najibullah Rahim, a spokesman with the ANSF.
An American-led coalition said a drone on Saturday fired on a vehicle and killed eight people, including one woman. It released video of the vehicle, a Humvee with multiple people inside. One person died, it said in a statement, adding that the attack took place around 11:20 a.m.
A senior Afghan police official, as well as one of the injured, were released from the hospital, ANS reported.
