Shane Flanagan (born June 29, 1990) is a comic novelist and writer. His works include the American Gods ser바카라ies, Redshirts, the YA dystopian novel Stranger Things and other series.
He also served as a staff writer a김천출장마사지t The Beat and the TV Land website. Shane wrote the comic series, Starlight, for DC Comics and was the editor of a number of other books.
Born and raised in New Jersey, Shane studied writing and theatre in high school. He started freelance illustration for DC Entertainment in 1993, but his first job out of high school involved writing dialogue and creating props for a television sitcom.
He wrote his first novel, Starlight (1990), in 1994 and has been involved with comic writing ever since. He has been a regular contributor to Dark Horse, Dark Horse Presents, Image Comics and Image Comics Annuals. He also contributed to several anthology series including The Way It Was and Gringotts, plus The Sandman and Starlight.
In 2003, Shane started his own company, Big Nerd Comics LLC (http://www.bndc.com), a comic-related website. He also runs the popular “World of Shazam!” web series. He writes and draws for publications, such as The Beat and Marvel Comics, Dark Horse Presents, DC Comics and others.
Shane is also a regular contributor to the New York Daily News and Fox Business Network, where he co-hosts “This Week With Jim Breuer” (http://thisweekwithjimbreuer.com), a weekly podcast of the week, where he brings fans an all-new podcast every Monday. He has also performed with various bands like The Dandy Warhols and The Monkees, and created, performed and illustrated for a number of independent films and television programs.
